Customer Service- All orders placed on the web site are confirmed by e-mail, usually within 24 hours. Merchandise is shipped promptly! Orders paid by money order or certified funds are normally shipped within 2 business days (including Saturdays). Personal checks require 7-14 business days to clear. Ordering items that are no longer available can be frustrating (for both of us!). My listings are normally updated daily, which eliminates most of those situations. If you have a question about or would like a picture of any item listed, please email and ask me.
Customer Satisfaction-
I realize you'll become a repeat customer only if you're pleased with your purchases. I concentrate on buying attractive collector coins and collectables, not just anything that makes a technical grade. Although rarely exercised, my no quibble 14 day return policy ensures you only need keep coins you are proud to include in your collection.
Pricing Policy-
All orders made through the shopping cart are acknowledged with an email when received. That email is an acknowledgement that order has been received. Prices shown do not cover U.S. shipping costs. Although we maintain a large inventory, availability problems and market fluctuations may occur, therefore, prices are subject to change without prior notice. Items are sold on a first come-first served basis.
How to Order-
With our "Click to Buy" system it is very easy to order.
On any of the order form pages...
1.Simply click on the ÂBUYNOWÂ button of the item(s) you wish to order. This will add the item(s) to the secure shopping cart.
2. The contents of the cart will be displayed for you to verify. At this time you can change quantities needed of your items (subject to availability) or remove items from your shopping cart.
3. To continue shopping, click the "Continue Shopping " button. If you wish to add other items to your cart, repeat steps 1 and 2.
4. When finished adding all your items to the cart, just click on the "Checkout" button to finish up your order. You may modify or delete items at any time before sending order.
5. Provide the information requested by the Checkout screens. Be sure to click "Submit Order" at the bottom of the Checkout form after you've completed the form.
6. Your order is placed when you click "Submit Order" in the Checkout screen. The shopping cart will automatically e-mail you an acknowledgment containing your order number. Your selections will be confirmed by a separate e-mail message, normally within 24 hours.
Your payment should be sent within 48 hours of confirmation, unless other arrangements are made.
Your order is encrypted for safe transmission. Account info is stored in an encrypted file on a machine which cannot be accessed over any network.
Terms of Sale-
Minimum order $10, please. If your check results in insufficient funds you will be notified. Cache La Poudre Coins & Collectables assumes you are honest, until you show otherwise and you will have 48 hours to make good funds available. Bad checks have a $25.00 service fee.

All merchandise, may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a refund or credit for any reason provided the item remains in its original sealed holder. Shipping costs are not refundable. Notification by e-mail to me before returning merchandise is necessary.
USPS Shipping and Insurance - is always just $4.75 per order. (except where specifically stated and if the shipping address is deemed an acceptable USPS delivery address)
International Orders -
Because of the current problems with International fraud, I have made it a standard policy that I do not ship ANY international orders.
Credit Cards-
All website, telephone and mail orders will be deposited immediately upon the receipt of the order if the ordered items are available.
Other Forms of Payment-
Personal checks, money orders, and certified funds are accepted and take 2-14 days to clear depending on the payment type.. COD's will not be accepted for website purchases, sorry. Many items are one of a kind and are subject to prior sale. CLPC&C reserves the right to accept or reject ANY order for ANY reason. We normally ship orders the same day we receive confirmation of good funds, unless this occurs on the weekend, then I ship the Monday morning after the weekend (unless clpcoins.com sends you an email letting you know there was a problem with your order).
Orders over $400.00 are shipped and insured with no charge to the customer.
Rare Coin Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
I want my customers to be pleased with their purchases from me. I make every attempt to accurately describe the condition of the rare coins I sell and price them fairly. If you should be dissatisfied with any of the rare coins I sell to you I will gladly exchange them for others you select or will refund your purchase price in full. Shipping costs are not refundable. Notification to Cache La Poudre Coins & Collectables of returns, exchanges, refunds must be made via email before items are sent back. Any item you wish to return must be returned unopened in its original package within 14 days of receipt.
Packages sent to you with rare coins will not show it is from Cache La Poudre Coins & Collectibles. The return address will show the package is from CLPC&C, the initials of the business name. This policy will help further insure that the package is not stolen because it does not appear to contain rare coins from a coin store.
Please e-mail scott@clpcoins.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping your product. NO returns of any type will be accepted without an RMA number. Please include the following information when emailing for an RMA number: customer name, invoice number, item number and nature of the problem. All products returned MUST: be 100 percent complete, unused, and sealed in original coin shipping holder. Collectables other than coins must be unused and undamaged in any way.You are responsible for shipping charges on returned items; CLPC&C will match your shipping method on your replacement or exchange item(s). CLPC&C strongly recommends you fully insure your return shipment in case it is lost or damaged and you use a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery for your protection. If the merchandise package you ordered arrives damaged: it is best to REFUSE it back to the carrier attempting delivery. If you accept the package make sure it is noted on the carrier's delivery record in order for CLPC&C to file a damage claim. Save the merchandise AND the original box and packing it arrived in, notify CLPC&C immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and a pick up of damaged merchandise. If you do not notify CLPC&C of damaged goods within the first 4 days after arrival, our regular return policy will override any claim of damage. Coin Grading Policies-
All coins are unconditionally guaranteed to be genuine.
Strict American Numismatic Association grading standards applied.
MS-65 Absolutely no trace of wear. May have a few scattered hairlines and light contact marks not in prime focal areas.
MS-63 Absolutely no trace of wear. May have distracting contact marks in prime focal areas.
MS-60 Absolutely no trace of wear. May have heavy contact marks in all areas.
AU-58 The barest trace of wear may be seen on one or more of the high points of the design.
AU-55 Only small traces of wear are visible on the highest points of the coin.
AU-50 Traces of wear on nearly all of the highest areas.
EF-45 Light overall wear on the coins highest points. All details are very sharp.
EF-40 Slight wear but more extensive than the preceding, still with excellent overall sharpness.
VF-30 Light even wear on the surface; design details on the highest points lightly worn. Lettering and major features sharp.
VF-20 Same as the preceding but with moderate wear on higher parts.
Fine-12 Moderate to considerable even wear. Entire design is bold. All lettering visible, but with some weakness.
VG-8 Well worn. Major designs visible, but with faintness in areas. Head, wreath and other details visible in outline form only.
Good-6 Heavily worn. Major designs visible, but with faintness. Major features visible in outline only. Displays full rims.
Good-4 As preceding but without full rims.
AG-2&3 Very heavily worn with portions of the lettering, date and legends worn smooth. Date barely readable.
